The contract, which is worth £85million over five years, will see DHL provide supply chain services from its newly refurbished 245,000sq ft hub in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

The new facility will allow House of Fraser to continue with its growth plans over the next few years – with a focus on store replenishment.
It is expected that the Wellingborough site, which will be in addition to the existing facility in Milton Keynes , will be fully operation later this month in time for the start of the Christmas peak period – and it will be used to exclusively fulfil House of Fraser’s online offering. It will also create 235 additional jobs across both of the operational sites.
According to Mark Holland, the supply chain director for House of Fraser, the new site will allow the company to satisfy its customers in new and innovative ways while expanding operational efficiency.
