The model, which is the company’s first 3D smart phone, is already available for pre-order at Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy stores – and it will be officially released on September 6. Going 3D
The retailer will be the first to stock the EVO 3D, which is actually the second 3D handset available there – the LG Optimus 3D was launched in June.
So what makes the HTC EVO 3D so special? Well, it comes with dual five-megapixel cameras for capturing and playing back HD video; it has a 4.3inch HD screen with stereo surround sound; a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor; and a touch screen with stereoscopic 3D screen technology.
In addition, it will be possible for customers to use the smart phone to download and stream both 3D video and images, as well as recording 3D films and photos.
