The
autumn-winter campaign follows on from a successful spring launch that saw
sales double overall and increase by 300 per cent in the lingerie sector.
Campaigns are seen as vital in reminding customers about Debenhams links with
some of the biggest names in fashion.
For
the new season, Debenhams has developed the concept of “Life Made Fabulous”
with an advertisement that opens with a designer in their studio adding the
finishing touches to a garment before transitioning into a close-up of the
product when the scene shifts to the same item being worn in real-life
situations.
In
addition, Debenhams is expected to launch an advert putting the emphasis on its
exclusive non-designer range Red Herring, which is proving popular with young
buyers.
